 Barry A. Bernhardt was born and raised in southern Alberta. He earned his BSc from the University of Calgary in 1978 and his LLB from the University of Windsor in 1982. Mr. Bernhardt articled at Bennett Jones and he spent the first part of his career at that firm. Mr. Bernhardt is a senior counsel with FLEMING LLP.
Mr. Bernhardt practices in corporate/commercial law with an emphasis on corporate finance and commercial transactions.
Mr. Bernhardt is active in the non-bank commercial lending market and he is the President and Director of four mortgage investment corporations.
Mr. Bernhardt has been a volunteer with several charities and most recently served as Director of the Heritage Park Foundation.
