 Born in Gravelbourgh, Saskatchewan, Ron Engel grew up on a farm but has lived most of his adult life in Calgary. Mr. Engel earned his Bachelor of Education (1970), Master of Arts (thesis) (1976) and was an elementary school principal prior to returning to the University of Calgary to complete his Bachelor of Laws (1982).
Since his admission to the bar in 1983, Mr. Engel has enjoyed a successful career as senior counsel for Engel Hildebrand Wilde. Mr Engel has a "general" practice with a particular focus on corporate/commercial, real estate, and wills and estates.
Mr. Engel gained a great deal of experience in the lending market in the capacity of President and CEO of a large mortgage investment corporation. He currently sits on two condominium boards as director and legal representative. |
