 Predrag Anic was born in Ljubuski, Hercegovina. He was raised primarily in Calgary, although he remains fluent in Croatian. Mr. Anic holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary (1989) and a law degree from the University of Alberta (1993). Mr. Anic articled with a large firm in Calgary and practiced there as an associate before joining FLEMING LLP in 1996. Mr. Anic has been a partner of FLEMING LLP since 2001.
Mr. Anic practices predominantly in the areas of dispute resolution, including administrative law, commercial and civil litigation (specifically general contract disputes, major construction litigation, foreclosure, personal injury and other tort claims), human rights, employment and privacy law. Mr. Anic has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta as well as the Labour Relations Board, the Alberta Human Rights and Citizenship Commission and numerous other administrative boards, and he has also provided counsel before many professional associations and tribunals.
