Walter Stanford was born and raised in southern Alberta.  Mr. Stanford obtained his Bachelor of Arts and his LLB from the University of Alberta.  Mr. Stanford remained in in Calgary after completing his Articles and has been practising law since 1964.            

Mr. Stanford practices mainly in corporate law, commercial real estate, and wills, trusts and estate matters.

Mr. Stanford enjoys sports and outdoor activities, including golf, hiking and bird watching.
